RoughRiders Foundation Grants
The application process opens each year on January 1st and closes on July 31st.
 
Application Process
All organizations applying for a Frisco RoughRiders Foundation cash grant must complete the request process in order to be considered. To determine if your group is eligible for a grant, please refer to the listing of ineligible groups.
 
All applications must be submitted with each of the following items in order to be considered:
  1. Grant Application Form (click here)
  2. Copy of IRS letter verifying 501(c)(3) status
  3. Formal letter of request (must be submitted on organization’s letterhead)
    1. Letter must include detailed description of the organization, the organization’s purpose and mission, as well as an explanation of how the donation will be used by the organization.

Applications submitted by fax or e-mail will not be considered.
 
Each application will be reviewed by the RoughRiders Foundation Board of Directors. Each year’s recipients will be notified by the Board of Directors. There is one grant cycle annually.
 
Ineligible Requests
Individuals
Local athletic teams and events
Sponsorships (including advertising, purchasing tables at events, etc)
Political or partisan causes
Capital campaigns
Advertising requests
Memorials and endowments
Multi-year pledges
Organizations outside of Collin, Denton, Dallas, Grayson and Tarrant counties
